The Annual Function for classes III and IV was held on 23 November 2024. The theme was Namami Gange, a meaningful topic highlighting the significance of cleaning and conserving the Ganga River, a lifeline for millions and a symbol of India's cultural heritage.
The program began with a soulful invocation dance dedicated to Maa Ganga.
The students of classes III and IV, through their performance, depicted the journey of the Ganga from its pristine origins in the Himalayas to the challenges it faces due to pollution and overuse. The young actors delivered a powerful message, urging everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices to restore the river's purity.
A mesmerising group dance added vibrancy to the event, their synchronised moves and colourful costumes brought out the river's cultural and spiritual significance.The melodious song performed by the school choir set the tone, celebrating the river's sacredness and its vital role in sustaining life.
The Chief Guest for the event Mrs Swaraj Yadav, an accomplished educator and avid trekker herself , emphasised the need to instil environmental awareness in young minds. She applauded the efforts of students and teachers in bringing the theme to life and encouraged everyone to take small steps toward protecting our natural resources. Honourable Chairman Sir and respected MD Ma'am also graced the occasion along with the other distinguished guests and members of the management.
Overall, the Annual Function was not only entertaining but also thought-provoking, instilling a sense of responsibility among the audience toward preserving the Ganga and the environment at large.
