The little learners of Nursery, LKG, and UKG celebrated White Day with great excitement and enthusiasm on 14 November 2024, filling the day with the charm and innocence of their early years. The event, themed around the colour white, aimed to enhance the children’s understanding of colours and their significance while fostering a sense of joy and creativity. Students and teachers dressed in white outfits, adding to the day’s aesthetic appeal and helping children recognize and associate with the colour. The celebration began with an interactive session where teachers explained the importance of the colour white, symbolising peace, purity, and positivity. Children participated in a variety of engaging activities, including talking about white objects, and cotton pasting activity. The highlight of the day was a sensory play activity involving items like rice and cotton, which allowed children to explore textures and develop their fine motor skills. A storytelling session based on a winter theme further captured their imaginations and kept them enthralled. The White Day celebration was a perfect blend of learning and fun, leaving the little ones with happy memories and a deeper understanding of the colour white. The event reflected the joy and innocence of our young learners.
