In our School, we celebrate Diwali as a vibrant festival filled with joy, cultural learning, and creativity. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an Indian festival that symbolises the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. On 29 October 2024, Diwali was celebrated in the school premises through a special assembly. Students of classes UKG and LKG gave a speech and recited poems. A video was shown on why Diwali is celebrated and also how to celebrate green Diwali. Students learnt about the history and significance of Diwali, including the story of Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya and the victory of goddess Lakshmi. In all the classrooms, children were engaged in various Diwali-themed activities designed to enhance their understanding of this special celebration. Diwali Celebration in school is more than just a celebration—it’s an opportunity for our students to learn about Indian traditions, develop creativity, and embrace the values of community and kindness. Through these activities, we create a warm and festive atmosphere, bringing the spirit of Diwali in the school.
