A teacher inspires us to reach our goals and achieve our dreams.
To celebrate the indomitable spirit of a teacher, Teacher’s Day was celebrated in our school on 05 September 2024. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was the former President of India, a scholar, a philosopher and Bharat Ratna recipient. This day is also a reminder of the role that teachers play in nation-building by guiding and educating the brightest minds of our country.
During the morning assembly, the students of classes I and III paid their respect and gratitude to their teachers by presenting a wonderful program consisting of speech, poem, song and a skit.
Taking the celebration further, a get together for the teachers was organised by the School Management in the Shobhna Auditorium of Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School. The teachers from all the branches reverberated the atmosphere with their melodious songs, lively dance, soulful qawali and fun filled games. A surprise lucky draw was conducted followed by a scrumptious lunch.
The School Management felicitated the deserving teachers from all the branches with the Best Teacher Award trophy. Ms Anshu Sachdeva of our school was conferred with the Best Teacher Award for the session 2023-24.
Honourable Chairman Sir through his speech boosted the morale of all the teachers and encouraged them to keep up the good work. It was a plauditory and memorable celebration for the teachers.
