The Krishna Janmashtami Celebration was celebrated at our school on 23 August 2024. It was a joyous event filled with enthusiasm and devotion. Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most beloved deities in Hindu mythology, and it was celebrated with great fervor by the students and teachers alike. The celebrations began with a special assembly where the teacher shared the significance of Janmashtami and narrated a few stories from the life of Lord Krishna. This was followed by a cultural program, where students of Nursery, Lkg and Ukg dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, and Brijwasi’s. They depicted the Goverdhan Parvat leela. The students of classes Lkg and Ukg also gave a dance performance. The Krishna Janmashtami celebration not only provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents but also helped them understand and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of India.Overall, it was a memorable day filled with learning, joy, and devotion, leaving everyone with a deeper connection to the values and teachings of Lord Krishna.
