Sink and Float: A Fun Science Activity
To help children of classes Nursery, Lkg and Ukg understand the concept of why some objects sink while others float a Science Activity was conducted on 26 July 2024.
The teacher explained in simple terms that objects float if they are lighter than the water they push aside (displace). If they are heavier, they sink. They did the activity by putting different objects in water. This activity not only taught basic scientific concepts but also encouraged critical thinking, prediction, and observation skills in a fun and engaging way.
