EARTH DAY CELEBRATION - 22/04/26

Our school celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2026 with great joy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment. The programme was thoughtfully organised to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting nature and keeping our surroundings clean and green.

The celebration began with various cultural and creative activities in which students participated wholeheartedly. They recited beautiful poems on nature, trees, and the need to save our planet. Their thoughtful expressions highlighted the importance of caring for Mother Earth. Students also sang meaningful songs that spread messages of love, respect, and responsibility towards the environment.

A vibrant dance performance added energy and colour to the event. The students performed gracefully to songs based on nature and environmental protection, captivating the audience and making the celebration even more memorable.

Art and craft activities were also conducted, giving students an opportunity to creatively express their ideas about saving trees, reducing pollution, and protecting the Earth. Their artwork reflected awareness and a deep understanding of environmental issues.

One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the green-colour lunch. Students brought a variety of healthy green food items such as cucumbers, grapes, peas, spinach dishes, and other nutritious snacks. This unique activity not only made the celebration fun but also promoted the importance of healthy and natural eating habits.

The Principal addressed the students with an inspiring message on the need to protect our planet. She encouraged everyone to adopt simple yet effective habits such as using dustbins, avoiding plastic, conserving water, planting trees, and caring for nature in daily life. Her words reminded students that even small actions can bring about significant positive change.

Overall, the Earth Day celebration was both enjoyable and educational. It helped students realise their responsibility towards the environment and motivated them to adopt eco-friendly habits in their everyday lives. The programme was a grand success and left a lasting impression on everyone’s hearts.
