Basant Panchami & Yellow Color Day Celebration - 05/02/2022

The auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami was celebrated on 5th February, 2022 with a cultural extravaganza presented by the students of class II. Keeping up the traditions of the day, the staff and students got dressed up in yellow. The event started with encouraging words of Principal ma'am. Then the celebration began solemnly by paying obeisance to the Goddess of Learning through a shloka. The spring of joy took over when the students displayed their talent through soulful and melodious Vandana, story narration on the importance of Basant Panchami and mesmerizing dance performance.
To mark the occasion,  the students of L.K.G and U.K.G celebrated Yellow Color Day virtually with great fervour and enthusiasm. Our little ones dressed up in yellow costumes offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati and welcomed the spring season. They recited rhymes, sang songs, spoke about any yellow colored object and did coloring and craft activity in an interesting manner. The teachers were also dressed up in yellow attire. The story of " The Yellow Lady Bird" was narrated to further enhance their listening skills.
Everyone enjoyed the day enlightened by the blessings of Maa Saraswati.
