Yoga Day Celebration - 21/06/2021

"Yoga is the gateway of happiness that body needs in daily life."

Keeping the spirit of International Yoga Day alive our school organized yoga session virtually for the teachers, parents and students on 21st June 2021. Our sports teacher Mrs Priyanka Yadav demonstrated various Asanas starting with warming up and stretching followed by the series of bhujangasana, pawan muktasan, vrikshasana and ending with shavasana. After Asanas session students were also taught the Pranayama - For longevity. She also boosted the morale of the students and encouraged them to include yoga in their daily routine for its wholesome and salubrious effects on the mind, body and soul. All the students were energetic and enjoyed the session. Parents also came forward to spread the awareness of healthy living by performing yoga at home and shared photographs. Overall, Yoga day was successful in conveying the message of Healthy Living
