It was a red letter day in the history of India when our country got freedom on 15 August 1947 after breaking the shackles of slavery. Even after 74 years, the nation geared up with the fervour to mark the day. With COVID- 19 hovering on, our school opted for a virtual route to celebrate through zoom. The flag hoisting ceremony was held in the school premises by Principal ma'am. The teachers narrated stories of independence and also explained how to keep our independent India clean. The creativity of students was channelized through the poems they recited, songs they sang, their dance, craft work etc. They also expressed their feelings towards the nation by dressing up as freedom fighters and speaking about them and their sacrifices. A short sight of the celebration was captured in a video and was shared with the parents and students. The celebration was a great success because of the contribution of our enthusiastic students, the kind concern and great efforts of their parents.
