Diwali Celebration on 25-10-16

Let the celebration be enjoyed for lifetime with a green and safe Diwali..

Diwali is one of the oldest religious festivals of our culture and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness. The celebrations in the school began with poetry recital followed by a play that enthralled the audience with a beautiful execution of the message that Diwali stands for … letting go of the darkness within ,do away with the ignorance of our minds and light our souls up with goodness and love. To put forth the message of a safe and pollution free Diwali, the teachers from the Kindergarten put up a puppet show wherein they wove stories around animals and made the children aware about the pertinent points of air pollution and how to protect our environment from it. Through the show they also encouraged the students to avoid bursting crackers and celebrate an eco-friendly and clean Diwali.  The programme concluded with an enticing tableau depicting the return of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshman to Ayodhya after a 14 year long exile. The audience was left mesmerized by the magical show.
