Learning through hands on experiment is always effective. On Friday, 26.08.16Kindergartners learnt measurement in terms of simplified comparisons: heavy and light. Heavy object (stone) sank to the bottom of water, on the other hand the lighter object (wood) floated on the surface of water. Children learnt new words like float and sink and also learnt that size and quantity sometimes correspond to heaviness, but they don't always match. They did this activity by using stone, wood, paper, eraser and coins etc.in a tub full of water.
