Like every year, this year too the Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. The celebrations were held in two parts. A special programme was organised for the teachers by the school management on 2nd September at Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp followed by fun games - FUNLYMPICS - to rejuvenate and entertain the teachers.
The activities included fashion parade, story marathon, hook steps, plane flying competition etc. Teachers actively participated and bonded with each other. The programme culminated with the inspiring words of our Chairman Sir who appreciated the hard work and efforts of the teachers.
The second part of the celebration took place on 4th September wherein the students of Class IV shared their feelings and messages through a short programme. The event began with a Saraswati Vandana. Students expressed their gratitude and love to their teachers through speeches, poems and cards.
It was a joyful time for all the teachers.
