Earth Day was celebrated virtually on 22 April 2021 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Dressed in green attires, students were encouraged to identify green objects from their immediate surroundings and speak about them. They were also encouraged to take care of Mother Earth by taking some steps on an individual level like switching off electrical appliances when not in need, planting more trees, saving water, reusing waste material and recycling paper.
Students were engaged in some creative activities like making of pen stand with waste material, poster making, leaf printing, pasta and cookie decoration. The day ended with a clear message to all that we have to work together to save our beautiful earth.
