Inter-School Painting Competition - 06.10.18

Under the aegis of GPSC, our school organized an Inter-School Painting Competition on October 6, 2018. Seventeen schools participated in this competition. The theme was –‘Portrait of a Famous Indian Personality’. This competition was open for students of Classes VI-VIII.  Mr. Sudhir Gupta, an eminent artist, was one of the judges for the competition where the participants showcased their creative skills by painting beautiful portraits of well-known personalities. 

The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal ma’am, Co-ordinator ma’am and the Art teachers.

For the Prize Distribution, Mr. Sudhir Gupta gave away the prizes and certificates for the ‘Individual Category’, in which the First Prize was bagged by a student from DPS Sector 45. The Second Prize was bagged by DPS Sushant Lok and the Third Prize by our own student, Ajay Maurya. However, being the host school, we passed on this prize to the next deserving candidate who was from DPS Sector 45.   Chairman Sir gave away the prizes to the School Teams, where the first position went to DPS Sector 45. The Second Prize was bagged by DPS Sushant Lok and the Third Prize by G.D. Goenka Public School, Sector-48.

 In his address to the gathering, Chairman Sir congratulated the winners and expressed his gratitude to all the schools for participating in the competition and helping to make it a success. He said that it was very important to participate.

The function ended with the vote of thanks by Principal ma’am.
