Annual Function 15/12/18

A glittering bonanza showcasing the never die spirit of the Indian woman was staged by the students during the Annual Function ‘Nari Shakti’.

School Principal welcomed the Chief Guest and presented the school report. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Ho’nable Chief Guest Major General S K Yadav followed by Chairman Sir and Managing Director Ma’am.

The event started with Ganesh Vandana. The audience got a glimpse of how highly educated and confident ancient Indian woman was through a play on great Indian philosopher ’Gargi Vachaknavi’. This was followed by musical presentation of bhakti, spirituality and devotion of ‘Meera Bai’. The loyalty and sacrifice of a woman was very well conceptualized by the play ‘Panna Dhai’. Jeeja Bai was a strong willed woman who was the force behind her son’s success. This fact was depicted through a dance and musical act. Last but not the least the woman achievers of modern India were shown to be playing a role as important as that of menfolk in all spheres of life.

The programme was appreciated by the Chief Guest Major General S K Yadav. He emphasized on the fact that girls’ education is the integral part for a nation’s success. He further urged the children to always uphold their moral and cultural values. Chairman Sir applauded the efforts of the teachers and wished them all the very best.
