Special Assembly of Class V C 10/10/18

Keeping with the tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervour and gaiety and introducing the children to their rich culture and heritage a Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Class V-C.

The assembly commenced with a warm welcome to our Chairman Sir and esteemed parents. The programme started with a wonderful dance which showcased the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtra and was followed by a short skit on Lord Ganesha. The students also presented a colourful ‘Bhangra’ to showcase ‘Baisakhi’, the harvest festival of Punjab. They also gave brief descriptions of some more festivals that are celebrated in different states of India. The assembly concluded with a beautiful song ‘Purane Din, Purane Pal…’ which is based on the bond of love and affection. The students performed enthusiastically.

Chairman Sir addressed the gathering and thanked the parents for their continued support. He congratulated the students for their stupendous performance and also appreciated the teachers for their efforts.
