Ramayana - The divine epic

The school atmosphere turned pious and divine when we celebrated our Annual Function on the theme of Ramayana on 28^th December,2019. The function was adorned by the Chief Guest Mrs. Sujata Kapoor. Honourable Chairman Sir and M.D. Ma’am, Principal Ma’am and members of the management. The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech and school’s Annual Report by school Principal followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest. The much awaited segment, Ramayana, opened with a profusion of colours, rhyme and rhythm after Ganesh Vandana. The deftly trained students took the stage with confidence and enacted their parts with diligence. The poetic narration and dialogues in immaculate Hindi with appropriate stage decoration created an aura of brilliance, drifting the audience to the world of the epic. The colourful dances, mellifluous songs and the background music blended perfectly well with the sublime theme. The finale song again complimented the theme. The Chief Guest was visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students. In her speech, she appreciated the choice of theme and its immense impact on the minds of youth. Finally the function concluded with the National Anthem.
