Evacuation Mock Drill - 18/02/2019

An evacuation mock drill involving the students and teachers of classes Nursery to II was conducted on 18^th Feb’19 to create awareness among the students about the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency. The mock drill started with the alarm alerting the students to “drop, cover and hold” :-

1. DROP and make yourself small.

2. COVER your head under a shelter.

3. HOLD ON until the shaking stops.

The evacuation operation began immediately after the second signal and the students were gathered at a pre-decided place. Active participation of the students and the teachers made the evacuation drill successful.

The evacuation drill proved to be informative and an imperative lesson on life- saving skills.
