Republic Day Celebration - 25/01/2016

The 67th Republic day was celebrated in the school with the spirit of unity. The hall echoed with patriotic fervour as tiny tots of nursery sang “ Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon”. The students of L.K.G followed up on the enthusiasm and proudly sang “ Sare jahan se accha”. The students of class I brought the stage alive with a patriotic Hindi skit which showcased the respect for our National Anthem. The students of class II delivered an enlightening speech infused with patriotism. Dumbles and Drill were presented by class U.K.G followed by a dance on the song “Jai Ho”

A special assembly was conducted by the students of class VI A. The assembly started with a speech which highlighted the importance and reason of celebrating Republic Day. A poem was recited to pay tribute to the soldiers who fought bravely to protect the freedom of our country. A Hindi poem was recited to throw light on framing of Indian constitution and its importance. The assembly concluded with principal ma’am's motivational words, she asked the students to watch Republic Day Parade and feel proud to be an Indian and contribute in the achievements of our  country when they grow up.
